I did a watercolour today of a girl that I work with. Really a nice young woman that i have been working with for 8 months or so. My portraits have been a struggle my whole life. I have tried several attempts at getting better, or at least trying to keep a certain consistent style. In November 2021 I started to "use water more" in my watercolours. I have traditionally used a lot of pigment. My portraits, along with my other paintings were very stark and bold. I wanted a softer look to them. I think the water has helped but I have a way to go
